About Me

I am HCPC Registered & BPS Chartered. I have experience working in the NHS, charitable organisations, & private practice. My approach is integrative, such that I make sure to tailor therapy to your needs.

My philosophy is grounded in humanistic & person-centred values, with a trauma-informed approach. I also bring in theories & techniques from ACT, CFT & EFT (3rd wave CBT therapies)

My focus is to offer a collaborative, compassionate & reflective space.

My journey into psychology began with a deep curiosity about people; how we make sense of ourselves, & how we find ways to grow through life’s challenges.

I’ve worked across a variety of NHS services, including an eating disorders unit at Bethlem Royal Hospital, IAPT services within South London & Maudsley NHS Trust, older adult services in both West London NHS Trust & Dumfries & Galloway NHS Trust in Scotland, as well as clinical health services in Scotland.

Before my Doctorate, I completed an MSc in Social & Applied Psychology at the University of Kent (2016) & a BA in Psychology from Dalhousie University in Canada (2009).

Having lived in Canada, the Middle East, & the UK, & experienced many life transitions, I understand what it feels like to navigate change & adapt to new environments. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, & ways of being. They have also shaped my respect for intersectionality, recognising how the many parts of our identities & lived experiences influence both our inner world & our place in the world around us.

I offer therapy in both English and Arabic, providing the option to work in whichever language feels most natural and comfortable for you.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, heard, & understood, wherever you may be in your journey.

My Approach

My approach brings together several ways of working rather than one strict method. Depending on what you need, we might slow down to notice & make room for difficult feelings, explore how earlier experiences & relationships shape patterns today, & build practical tools to steady anxiety & low mood while staying close to your values. I pay careful attention to safety & choice, especially if you’ve been through overwhelming experiences. For me, therapy is a shared process: I walk alongside you with warmth & curiosity as you make sense of your inner world & move toward change that feels right for you.
